I think it a sorry state of affairs when our 8-cup coffee maker requires two brew cycles, and often winds up empty after the second, to serve my & my wife's addiction.

A few thoughts:
ReplyDelete1. Our 12 cup coffee maker is empty by the end of the day.
2. I love your new layout. You look much less creepy with your current blog picture. The alien eyes were scary, Dan.
3. You should do a re-write of Nehemiah. Seriously. I doubt that I'd ever be able to tackle it, because Nehemiah was such a strategic rationalist. You could not only pull it off, but actually write it in first person.
Hmm... I just might run with that one of these days, assuming you don't get to something similar first.

ReplyDeleteanna - i just now read this. totally hilarious that a) you guys actually did get the big coffee maker out ahead of our visit, and that b)we mostly brewed 2 pots of it per day.
